Let's your kids play
with trash
Transforming playtime into planet-saving fun! I developed a captivating campaign for Green Toys, spotlighting their eco-friendly toys made from 100% recycled plastics.
Problem
Green Toys, a brand focused on eco-friendly children’s toys made from 100% recycled plastics, is seeking to engage environmentally conscious parents aged 24-40. The challenge is to effectively communicate the environmental benefits of the product without compromising the fun, playful nature of the toys for children. Additionally, the approved copy, "Let your kids play with trash," needs to be creatively interpreted in a way that is both engaging and visually appealing.
Insight
Parents who care about the environment want to make responsible choices for their children but also want those choices to bring joy and playfulness to their kids' lives. They are looking for toys that reflect their values while ensuring their children have fun. The challenge is to show how "trash" can be transformed into something valuable and enjoyable for kids, making the idea of recycling engaging for both parents and children.
Idea
The campaign will visually represent Green Toys as playful, eco-friendly, and creative by using the concept of transforming everyday trash into something magical. A key visual execution could involve the toys being built from recycled materials, such as a toy castle made from a trash bin, blending the concepts of fun and recyclability. This not only captures the childlike imagination but also reinforces the eco-friendly message. The imagery and color palette will lean on playful, earthy tones to maintain an engaging yet environmentally responsible feel.
