This project focused on analyzing a key episode from the Netflix series Sex Education, where the narrative tackles the sensitive issue of abortion through the character Maeve’s personal experience. Our analysis explored how the show balances its comedic and dramatic elements to address real-world challenges faced by teenagers, including reproductive rights, sexual health, and the social stigmas surrounding these topics.

In this particular episode, we examined the emotional depth portrayed in Maeve’s journey as she navigates the decision to have an abortion. The show’s use of humor juxtaposed with heartfelt moments emphasizes the complexity of these experiences, making it both relatable and thought-provoking for its target audience.
